Creating a simple board game prototype is the culminating activity for Units 1-4. You should be able to put all of the information learned in those units to good use in the production of a playable board game. This activity also includes debugging possible problems with the rules and the play of the game. You may work with one partner if you choose.
Your poster board to print on is 22in x 28in. You need to setup at least a one inch margin on all sides, it is best if you do this using the bleed function.

- Game Board
- Originally designed board drawn in a 2D graphics package and printed in color. The board needs to follow a chosen theme and be age appropriate.
- Cards/Game Pieces
- Originally designed game pieces such as cards, money, tokens, dice, timers or devices related to the game. These pieces can be produced in a 3D graphics package, printed in color, and glued on small pieces of foam board. Some pieces can be used from old games, created from bottle caps or other items, or purchased at a Dollar Store. Examples include: Dice, tokens, currency, coins, cards, timer, spinner, marbles, tiles, poker chips, and so forth
- Rules
- A list of specific rules from the GDD. The rules should be printed out in a separate document.
